The HMS Hood sunk during WWII and Eric's grandfather salvaged this hat. It is a wonderful addition to the other antiques that we have around the house only more personal. To display it I used an old military uniform of Eric's as the background and a clothes pin to hold the hat so that I did not have to put glue on the hat! The case is a great find as well, it looks like a bound book with pages and all.

Jett's Halloween Costume

I just could not bare to put this in a closet and forget how cute it really is. So this is what I have come up with! It matches her room perfectly so we will have to talk Daddy into hanging it for us. (I don't trust myself! Things usually fall when I try!)

The Derin's

Once my cousin's wife saw the mosaic that I made for my parents; that was it she wanted on. She said a 'country style' one. Living in south Florida I had no idea what that meant, so I went with a Horse shoe...what says country more than a horse shoe...I hope the upside down horse show is bringing them LOTS of luck!

This was a 17 hour piece. Not one of the longest however, it was finished in a shorted period of time and PREGNANT! Ouch! Long hours sitting while pregnant...needless to say I carted it up from south Florida in my luggage.

Scannavino's Game Room

This the the procedure. Everything gets drawn onto MDF and then the tile goes on! That simple! Not really but hey, who really needs to know all the details. This was a Christmas gift for my parents. I was driven up from Florida in December 2005!

Stephenson's Pub est. 2004

This piece was completed in Florida during hurricanes! It was an old tool table that was in the garage from the previous owners of the house. Most of the tile that was used was also left there it was like it was meant to be...Something for me to do! The 2004 was the year that Eric and I got married; that is a very common question. I am not too sure where the blue martini's came in but I am pretty sure that it was a night in West Palm Beach...who knows!
